Title: A Mother's Love

Word count: 635

In everyone's life, there is a person who plays a vital role in shaping who they are. For me, that person is my mother. Her love and support have been the driving force behind my achievements and she has always been there for me, through thick and thin.

From a young age, my mother instilled in me the importance of education. She would wake up early every morning to prepare a nutritious breakfast before sending me off to school. She would patiently sit with me for hours, helping me with my homework and encouraging me to do my best. Her dedication and commitment to my education motivated me to excel in my studies.

Not only did my mother prioritize my academic success, but she also taught me valuable life lessons. She taught me the importance of honesty, integrity, and kindness. She taught me to always treat others with respect and to never give up on my dreams. Her words of wisdom have guided me through various challenges and have shaped my character.

My mother's love is unconditional and unwavering. Through the ups and downs of life, she has always been my pillar of strength. Whenever I face a setback, she is there to console me and lift me back up. Whenever I achieve something great, she is there to celebrate and share in my joy. Her love and support have given me the confidence to pursue my dreams and overcome any obstacles that come my way.

As I reflect on my journey so far, I am grateful for the sacrifices my mother has made for me. She has put her own needs and desires aside to ensure that I have the best opportunities in life. Whether it was attending parent-teacher meetings, driving me to extracurricular activities, or simply being there to listen to my problems, she has always prioritized my happiness and well-being.

In conclusion, my mother's love is truly remarkable. She is my role model, my confidante, and my biggest cheerleader. Without her love and support, I would not be the person I am today. I am forever grateful for everything she has done for me and I strive to make her proud every single day.

母亲的英语作文 篇二

Title: The Strength of a Mother's Love

Word count: 612

A mother's love is a powerful force that can overcome any obstacle and conquer any challenge. It is a love that is selfless, nurturing, and unwavering. Throughout my life, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible strength of my own mother's love and how it has shaped me into the person I am today.

One of the most remarkable aspects of my mother's love is her ability to always put others before herself. She sacrifices her own needs and desires to ensure the happiness and well-being of her children. Whether it is waking up early to prepare breakfast, working long hours to provide for the family, or staying up late to help with homework, my mother's love is evident in every action she takes. Her selflessness inspires me to always consider the needs of others and to be there for those I care about.

Another aspect of my mother's love that I find truly amazing is her resilience and determination. No matter how challenging the circumstances may be, she always finds a way to overcome them. She faces each obstacle head-on and never gives up, even when the odds are stacked against her. This strength and determination have taught me to persevere in the face of adversity and to never lose hope.

My mother's love is also a source of comfort and support. She has a unique ability to understand my feelings and provide a shoulder to lean on when I need it the most. When I am feeling down or facing a difficult situation, she is always there to listen, offer guidance, and provide words of encouragement. Her unwavering support has given me the confidence to face challenges head-on and to believe in myself.

Above all, my mother's love is a constant reminder of the power of unconditional love. She loves me for who I am, flaws and all, and accepts me without judgment. Her love has taught me the importance of accepting and loving myself, and it has also taught me to extend that same love and acceptance to others.

In conclusion, a mother's love is an extraordinary force that has the power to shape and transform lives. My mother's love has been a constant source of strength, inspiration, and guidance throughout my life. I am forever grateful for the sacrifices she has made and the love she has shown me. Her love has shaped me into the person I am today, and I strive to carry that love with me in all aspects of my life.

母亲的英语作文 篇四

Night after night, she came to tuck me in, even long after my childhood years. Following her longstanding custom, she\'d lean down and push my long hair out of the way, then kiss my forehead.

I don\'t remember when it first started annoying me — her hands pushing my hair that way. But it did annoy me, for they felt work-worn and rough against my young skin. Finally, one night, I shouted out at her, Don\'t do that anymore —your hands are too rough! She didn\'t say anything in reply. But never again did my mother close out my day with that familiar expression of her love.

Time after time, with the passing years, my thoughts returned to that night. By then I missed my mother\'s hands, missed her goodnight kiss on my forehead. Sometimes the incident seemed very close, sometimes far away. But always it lurked, in the back of my mind.

Well, the years have passed, and I\'m not a little girl anymore. Mom is in her mid-seventies, and those hands I once thought to be so rough are still doing things for me and my family. She\'s been our doctor, reaching into a medicine cabinet for the remedy to c

alm a young girl\'s stomach or soothe the boy\'s scraped knee. She cooks the best fried chicken in the world... gets stains out of blue jeans like I never could...

Now, my own children are grown and gone. Mom no longer has Dad, and on special occasions, I find myself drawn next door to spend the night with her. So it was late on Thanksgiving Eve, as I slept in the bedroom of my youth, a familiar hand hesitantly run across my face to brush the hair from my forehead. Then a kiss, ever so gently, touched my brow.

In my memory, for the thousandth time, I recalled the night my young voice complained, Don\'t do that anymore — your hands are too rough! Catching Mom\'s hand in hand, I blurted out how sorry I was for that night. I thought she\'d remember, as I did. But Mom didn\'t know what I was talking about. She had forgotten — and forgiven — long ago.

That night, I fell asleep with a new appreciation for my gentle mother and her caring hands. And the guilt that I had carried around for so long was nowhere to be found.
