My First Day at a New School

Today was my first day at my new school and I must admit, I was quite nervous. Moving to a new place is always challenging, especially when it involves leaving behind friends and familiar surroundings. However, I knew that I had to be positive and open-minded about this new chapter in my life.

As soon as I entered the school, I was greeted by friendly faces and welcoming smiles. The staff and students were incredibly warm and helpful, which instantly made me feel at ease. The teachers introduced themselves and gave me a tour of the school. They explained the different subjects they taught and the extracurricular activities available.

During the break, I joined a group of students who were playing football. I introduced myself and they were quick to include me in their game. It was a great way to break the ice and make new friends. I was also introduced to some students who shared similar interests with me, such as reading and painting.

In the afternoon, I had my first classes. The teachers were engaging and passionate about their subjects. They encouraged class participation and made the lessons interactive. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed learning in this new environment.

At the end of the day, I reflected on my experience and realized that my worries were unfounded. My first day at my new school exceeded my expectations. The warmth and kindness of the people I met helped me feel at home instantly. I am excited to continue my journey in this new school and make lifelong memories and friendships.

　　Li Ming is my classmate, he is always the best student in my class. The teachers speak highly of him all the time. I wondered how he can do so well, so I talked to him.

　　He told me that he kept reading books every hour a day, if he was busy, he would do it before sleeping. I thought about most of us, we could’t wait to play computer games after we finished the homework.

　I could find something was different between Li Ming and other students, now I understand why, reading the books broadens his vision and enriches his mind, helping him to be a better man. So I make up my mind to keep reading.

　　Finally, I had to change my mind, and I had to stay at home all day watching TV and reading books.I like sunny days very much, and I dont like rainy days any more. But I know if there are no rainy days, there will be a lack of water, and I know it is very terrible if there is not enough water.But I still like sunny days because I like sunshine very much.
