Last summer, I had the amazing opportunity to visit Beijing with my family. It was a truly unforgettable trip that I will cherish forever.
On the first day, we visited the Great Wall of China. As we climbed up the steep steps, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration. The view from the top was breathtaking, with the wall stretching as far as the eye could see. I learned about the history and significance of the Great Wall, and it made me appreciate the incredible engineering feat it represents.
The following day, we explored the Forbidden City. Walking through the vast palace complex, I felt like I had stepped back in time. The intricate architecture and beautiful gardens were truly mesmerizing. I was fascinated by the stories behind each building and the lives of the emperors who once resided there.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Temple of Heaven. The serene atmosphere and stunning architecture left a deep impression on me. We witnessed locals practicing Tai Chi and playing traditional instruments, which added to the cultural experience. I even tried my hand at playing the Erhu, a traditional Chinese musical instrument.
Aside from the historical sites, we also enjoyed the modern aspects of Beijing. We visited the Olympic Park, where the 2008 Summer Olympics were held. It was incredible to see the Bird's Nest Stadium and Water Cube up close. We also indulged in delicious Beijing cuisine, such as Peking duck and dumplings.
The trip to Beijing was not only educational but also eye-opening. It allowed me to appreciate the rich history and culture of China. It was a journey that broadened my horizons and sparked a curiosity to explore more of the world.

Standing at the observation deck on the 263rd floor, we were treated to a panoramic view of Shanghai's stunning skyline. Another must-visit attraction in Shanghai is the Bund. Walking along the waterfront promenade, I was in awe of the beautiful colonial architecture and the contrast between the historic buildings and the towering skyscrapers across the river. We took a relaxing cruise along the Huangpu River, which allowed us to appreciate the cityscape from a different angle.
We also explored the traditional side of Shanghai by visiting Yuyuan Garden. The classical Chinese garden was a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The intricate pavilions, bridges, and rockeries were a sight to behold. We also wandered through the nearby Yuyuan Bazaar, where we indulged in local snacks and bought souvenirs.
In addition to the cultural sites, we also enjoyed the modern entertainment options in Shanghai. We visited Shanghai Disneyland, where we had a blast experiencing thrilling rides and watching spectacular shows. We also explored the trendy shopping streets of Nanjing Road and Xintiandi, where we found a variety of shops and trendy cafes.
The trip to Shanghai was an unforgettable experience. It allowed me to witness the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity in this vibrant city. However,The traveling has some advantages that can make me enjoy my holiday and different life styles.In addition ,Tourism can broaden my vision,let me learn more about other countries or cultures.Traveling much,we will not only enrich our knowlege and experiences,but also be aware of the vastness of nature,we will forget all trifles and burdens in our mind.Even tourism can drive local economic development and increase the income of local people.In spite of,There are some disadvantages that bring a lot of rubbish to the scenic spots,that will pollute the environment .It also will bring congestion to the tourist city,and may bring some instability.The price of some tourist sites is very high,and the store set the price at random.
In my opinion,I think the local environmental protection department should be well-regulated and strict with tourists to litter.In addition,the traffic department should arrange more traffic police to clear the crowded roads during the holidays.The price bureau should regulate the local price and eliminate the arbitrary price of the store.We need a more comfortable journey.

One of my friends with me went to Xiamen in September before the beginning of this term. We spent 5 days there and slept for 4 nights. Personally, I don’t think that it is a wonderful trip. For me, I spent all of my money which was partially saved from my part-time job during the summer vacation and partially from my parents but found that it was a really tiring trip. Maybe it was out of my personality.
We visited Xiamen University, Gulangyu Island, Riyuegu Hotspring, Zengcuoan, Hulishan Fort, Nanputuo temple，Xiamen Museum, Zhongshan Road and so on. The schedule was so full within this five hot days that my feeling of tiredness far surpassed my enjoyment. But one thing moved me. The air there was fresher than here in Xiasha though above their city floated a layer of haze. I was afraid that one day Xiamen would took the same step as Hangzhou and no blue sky left anymore. So we have to took our environmental problem seriously.
Out of the thought that “Adults should go out to see the outside.”, I agreed this travel to Xiamen. After this travel, however, I found that I didn’t belong to the travel-loving group. Comparing with travelling around, I preferred staying at home more. Thus, I would take my next travel pretty seriously.

When asked about their opinion on Spring Festival Gala, people always reason differently. Some people deem that it should be cancelled, while there are also other people who argue that it should be continued.
Some people take it for granted that the Gala should not exist because it is too boring on the evening of the Lunar New Year. Besides, the form of the Evening seems the same every year. In comparison, there are, however, a large number of people who hold a different view concerning this issue, they insist that the Gala must be continued. They argue that it is one of the most important celebration customs. And they think the Gala is worth expecting.
As far as I am concerned, I am intending to stand on the side of the latter group of people. Admittedly, the former point of view seems reasonable, but the latter is more persuasive. Taking the above-mentioned factors into consideration, I can safely conclude that the Gala just needs a reform in the future but not to be cancelled.
